30 in 30 challenge

I am looking forward to this challenge - it was a blast to do roosters in January. This time I will paint different wild things the entire month. I have most of the supports ready to go. All of the paintings in this challenge will be less than a square foot, and will be priced $200 or less.

This time I have not prepared as well as the last time. I did not pick a theme and will just go as I please. I am frantically preparing my boards today so I have at least a few small supports ready for the challenge. It is amazing how days can go by quickly and I do not have a minute to pick up my palette knives and brushes and paint.

Here is a collage of all the cock paintings I did in January to remind me how awesome it is to do this every day!

Marking the Valley show is up at Northern Alberta Jubilee!

The show is up now at the Northern Alberta Jubilee until October 17, 2014. Then it will be moved to Southern Jubilee in Calgary until the end of December.
I am fortunate to be juried in this show and happy to have my painting in such a good company!

My exhibit proposal "Serene Vistas" was accepted and I will show my work at Gallery at Milner Library from January 1 to January 31, 2015! I am so excited about the show, as the gallery is located in a very busy downtown location.

30 in 30 days challenge in September

It is time to do a 30 in 30 days challenge again with Leslie Saeta. I am going to try and do it, although I may not be able to keep up with it this time - too much going on.

Here is my collage from January 2014

I am thinking about continuing my Wild Things series, but may change my mind and pick something else to paint in September :)
